If you have not had the pleasure of meeting Deputy Brown you are in for a treat. This week we highlight the youngest Deputy in the County, former Army Military Police and Culinary Specialist, Deputy Steven Brown as he continued a family tradition of serving in the United States Military.
Deputy Brown has “always wanted to help people live better lives in a safe way, so when I left the military, I decided to continue my career with Law Enforcement.”
Deputy Brown started with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office three years ago and says, “Public service is the most honorable job you can have. Most of the time I don’t feel like I’m really working because I wake up excited to go to my job.”
He prides himself on always treating people with respect and being fair and partial to everyone he comes across.
When we asked for him to offer advise to the younger generation of Jasper County he said “Become the change you want to see. Don’t just say it, but follow through with the actions and hard work…Be The Change!”
Thank you Deputy for not only your service in our military but for helping to keep Jasper County a safe community!
