The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS), South Carolina Highway Patrol, and law enforcement agencies statewide for the kickoff of the Buckle Up, South Carolina (BUSC) campaign.

May 19 – June 1

This high-visibility enforcement effort focuses on saving lives by ensuring everyone is wearing their seat belt. Deputies will be out in force enforcing state seat belt laws and reminding drivers to buckle up — every trip, every time.

This campaign coincides with Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial start of summer — a time when travel and traffic increase across South Carolina. JCSO wants to make sure we all kick off the summer safely.
