This morning, deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop 45-year-old Alvin Primus in the Stiney Road area of Hardeeville. Primus fled the scene on foot, prompting deputies to deploy K9 units to track him.

Primus was successfully located, taken into custody without further incident, and will be transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.
