We have received reports of scam calls appearing to come from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office phone number. Scammers are impersonating JCSO deputies and falsely claiming that individuals have bench warrants—then demanding payment and threatening arrest if they don’t comply.

These are scams! The JCSO will NEVER call you to collect payment over the phone.

If someone asks for payment via cryptocurrency, prepaid cards, Venmo, Cash App, or other digital platforms—it’s a SCAM.

⦁ Hang up immediately.
