Early Sunday, deputies responded to a crash on Kato Bay Road where a vehicle struck a power pole and overturned. The driver fled before law enforcement arrived.

Deputy Suzi Heinrich and K9 Dan tracked the suspect north to I-95, where deputies apprehended 41-year-old Rasheen Williams of Savannah, GA. He was taken to Coastal Carolina Medical Center.

The vehicle was reported stolen out of Georgia. Warrants for possession of a stolen vehicle are pending.
