Deputy Butler joined JCSO about a year ago after transferring from Hampton County Sheriff’s Office.

Originally from Early Branch, SC, her father was in law enforcement but worked to push her interest in a different direction, “My passion has always been public service” Deputy Butler said, so a police officer she became. Jasmine, like other JCSO officers agrees “The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is extremely friendly and has become more like family.”

Deputy Butler is currently serving as the School Resource Polaris Tech Charter School in Ridgeland, SC. When asked about her own experiences and her words of advice she says: “A bad situation is not always meant to destroy you, sometimes the experience is designed to bring out the best in YOURSELF. DON’T GIVE UP!”

Thank you, Deputy Jasmine Butler for your hard work and dedication to Jasper County. We appreciate all of your efforts and are glad you are a part of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.
