Today we would like to introduce you all to Detective Harry German.
Detective German has lived in the Lowcountry since 2001 when he started with the Hardeeville Police Dept. before moving to Jasper County Sheriff’s Office in 2018.
“I’ve always wanted to be a police officer since I was a kid.” Detective German said, “I know people always say to help people but that is actually the primary reason for all of us. Being a police officer used to be a prestigious job so this was the best way I could see myself helping my community.”
When we asked Det. German if he had any words of advice for our younger generations he said “Stay positive, keep going and good things will come, at least that’s what I have chosen to live by and it’s working out pretty good so far (as he smiles).”
